As the Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies to raise awareness about the program among volunteer mentors and newcomer professionals. You will be assisting with the screening and selecting of mentors and mentees, providing orientation and training to mentors, and matching professionals from within the Calgary business community with internationally trained newcomers who share similar educational backgrounds, professional goals, and areas of expertise. In addition, in this role you will conduct outreach activities to encourage the involvement of the local business community in the resettlement and integration of newcomers to Calgary.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Communicate program services and goals to target populations by delivering presentations to potential mentors from within the business community and by circulating posters and brochures to promote the program among potential mentors and internationally trained professionals,
- Recruit and respond to clients and volunteers by identifying institutions and individuals from the business community, raising awareness of the program among the newcomer community, and by developing appropriate matches between mentors and mentees,
- Conduct orientation and training sessions for mentors
- Monitor and follow-up with clients and mentors to ensure effective outcomes and provide support if challenges arise
- Prepare and maintain required client documentation and iCARE reporting; evaluate and report the progress of clients and the efficacy of the program to the Program Coordinator

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with newcomers to Canada,
- Networking connections within the local business community,
- A University Degree in Social Sciences, Business, or Humanities,
- Knowledge of the needs and challenges faced by internationally trained professionals as they transition into their fields in Alberta,
- Counseling and facilitation skills,
- Community liaison and recruitment skills.
