**Position Description**

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, creative, and fun-loving Adapted Dance/Movement Facilitator to facilitate adapted dance/movement classes for participants with varying physical and developmental disabilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Planning and facilitation of classes for people with disabilities, which includes but is not limited to:

- Basic choreography for warm-up activities and dances
- Rhythm activities
- Social games and activities
- Music selection
- Class plans for in-person and virtual settings
- Maintenance and cleaning of Bloom-owned props and materials.

**Qualifications**
- Background in dance/movement is required. Coaching will be offered by the Executive/Assistant Directors with regards to implementation of Bloom caliber programming.
- Experience working with children/people is required and experience or knowledge of working with people with disabilities is considered an asset.

**Conditions of Employment**

Police Information Clearance - Vulnerable Sector Search (Applicants WHO ARE OFFERED EMPLOYMENT must complete and pass a police information clearance before employment is confirmed)

Must have a working and dependable vehicle.

Class observation and facilitator shadowing required on an unpaid basis prior to starting the role as well as ongoing when necessary to gain knowledge of position and specific clientele groups.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-12 per week

**Salary**: $32.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
