Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a **HR Specialist Total Rewards, COE** on a temporary basis (up to 6 months) at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

**Who we are**:
**What you’ll do**:

- You will support the design and development of strategic activities relating to total rewards and will provide recommendations for program and structure adjustments/enhancements.
- You will support the development and implementation of various Total Reward programs and projects such as recognition strategies, awards, bonuses, short term disability programs, flexible spending accounts and the evolution of non-management compensation approaches.
- You will support the creation of Total Rewards policies, processes and learning materials to support the communication strategy and plan for CRS employees.
- You will support the coordination and roll out of the organizational wide total reward initiatives across the CRS through the utilization of FCL project and change management frameworks.
- You will review and analyze current programs, policies and data to identity trends/impacts and ensure alignment with best practice. You will also ensure compensation and benefits are being accurately and consistently administered and that benefit plans and renewals are compliance with internal guidelines, regulations and legislation and are aligned with provincial reporting requirements.

People and Culture's Total Rewards Communities of Expertise team is a small but mighty team and continue to support the diverse and growing needs of the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). As a team we demonstrate FCL values and focus on creating strategic programs and frameworks as it relates to Total Rewards. We focus on market research and best practice while ensuring that we are supporting the employee experience, engagement and retention, and attraction for the CRS. We are looking for a team member who is dynamic, collaborative, with a high degree of initiative and has supporting experiences that will lend nicely to the role.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Human Resources & Training and:

- You have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration, ideally you would have a major in Human Resources.
- You have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Human Resources. Previous experience in the area of Total Rewards including, awards and recognitions, compensation and benefits and pensions is required (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
- You ideally have specialized training in pensions, such as CEBS, RPA, or PPAC designations as these are considered an asset.
- You ideally have CPHR, CCP or CEBS designations as these are considered an asset.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
