Commercial Construction Business Development Manager

Nusite is looking to add an experienced commercial waterproofing, concrete and restoration Business Development Manager to our team. We are looking for a self-starter that can work efficiently and with a high level of professionalism while growing Nusite’s customer base. The Business Development Manager will drive new business, leveraging existing industry relationships. They will join an existing team of estimators and will be able to think dynamically, work independently and within a team that reports to the owners of the company.
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Leverage your existing relationships and build new ones, acting as the main point of contact with the client to bring in new leads
- Work with the Chief Revenue Officer to develop new clients and markets
- Participate in Business Development Department planning & achieve company sales goals
- Responsible for the marketing activities within identified key markets while developing an evolving plan of action to expand into new marketplaces
- Develop and tailor technical presentations to match potential client needs and present technical solutions to key decision-makers
- Be engaged in proposal preparation for RFQ/RFP submissions, providing input/intel to the team, and providing detailed reviews and feedback on the proposal during the review process
- Build productive, professional relationships with decision-makers and key personnel within the targeted clients
- Provide customer service and function as one of the primary contact points for clients, including resolving client issues and complaints
- Represent the company at various trade shows and marketing functions
- Desire and aptitude for learning/understand our market to ensure we are evolving ahead of the market trends to ensure optimal operational efficiency
- Track and enter information about opportunities, potential clients, and RFQ/RFP/Tenders in our CRM database
- Join weekly business development meetings, where you’ll update the wider team on the pipeline
- leads, status of RFQ/RFP submissions and developing opportunities
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years business development experience within the construction management, commercial developer and property management industry
- Strong network of potential clients in key growth sectors
- Must have and maintain a clear driver/motor vehicle record and ability to travel
- "Relationship Builder" can develop and foster business relationships and engage the customer
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills,
