Product Sales Manager, Specialty Alloys

Job Description:
Primary Duties
- Achieve sales quota for designated territory.
- Improve relationships and sales within the ESAB Welding and Cutting distribution channel.
- Fully communicate sales and marketing activities.
- Project a positive, professional image as a company representative.
- Work within a team structure.
- Key Measurements
- Overall territory sales growth
- New product sales and opportunity identification
- Competitive account conversion
- Training completion for distributor partners
- Support of the ESAB Account management team and joint business development.
**Qualifications**:
- B.S. degree in technical discipline or business administration.
- 3+ years proven industrial sales experience, with welding or related sales experience preferred, strong preference towards hard facing and similar alloys.
- Solid knowledge of welding consumables and hard facing.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Work Environment
- Remains in a stationary position 50% of the time and involves additional physical demands such as ascending/descending stairs, walking stooping and standing.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment ‘PPE’ when working/visiting manufacturing and plant locations.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to printer, tablets, cell phones.
- Moves transports, puts, or removes equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.; pushes, pulls products weighing up to 200 lbs. using provided safety tools.
- May be exposed to varying weather during travel.
- Domestic travel required approximately 80%.
