**Description**:

- Develop and implement sales growth strategies to increase market share within targeted geographies.
- Target, develop and secure deals with architects, designers, specifiers, developers, and distributors. Use independent judgment and creativity in regard to obtaining these sales-related deals.
- Manage and maintain customer relationships with emphasis on pull through activity down channel and outside the Architecture & Design environment.
- Identify, develop, quote and close large volume jobs to multi-family developments.
- Grow sales through sales presentations, sales connections, sales efforts, and sales analytics tools.
- Research, evaluate and represent VanAir at industry events and trade shows.
- Plan, promote and execute events and partnerships that drive mindshare and market share.
- Grow brand recognition with effective positioning, product training and product differentiation.
- Have complete knowledge of products and their functions, and be confident in teaching.
- Educate direct and indirect customers through online and in-person Lunch & Learn presentations, Continuing Education sessions and Product Knowledge sessions.
- Evaluate, monitor, and resolve customer service related issues on a timely basis.
- Provide field-based product, trend and competitive intelligence to leadership.
- Travel required on a regular basis to meet with customers.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- High School Education required.
- Post-Secondary Education preferred, i.e., in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering, Design, Sales, or similar field.

**Experience**
- Minimum of five years of experience in account development and/or management and sales.
- Applied knowledge of construction, building materials, architecture and interior design preferred. Door industry knowledge also a plus.
- Experience managing teams, marketing, customer service, business operations preferred.

**Competencies**
- Demonstrated ability to develop an intimate knowledge of customers, competition, and the market in a manner that results in enhanced sales.
- Ability to use independent judgment, creativity and relationship building skills effectively.
- Providing trainings with superior facilitation, presentation, engagement and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated and results-focused.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast pace work environment and manage multiple tasks at once without direct supervision.
- Detail-oriented and hardworking.
- Valid driver’s license.
