CM2 supports Marketing and Customer Relationship Management activities at General Motors of Canada Ltd. The GM team of CM2 is based at GM’s Canadian headquarters in Oshawa; the Digital Analytics Insights Manager position is based in GM Canada’s Calgary office, supporting the Regional Marketing team.

**Overview of Position**:
The Performance Marketing team helps drive data-based insights, strategy, and innovation from our site and digital media data for GM Canada’s Core Brands and Regional Marketing teams. As a member of our ID&A team, the Digital Analytics Manager is responsible for paid media and site digital analytics for one of our regional marketing groups.

Your responsibilities include: reporting and developing insights on marketing campaign performance for GM Canada and Dealer Partner Leadership teams; working with key suppliers to develop new tactics and digital marketing strategies along with the methodology to prove their success; and, providing guidance and strategy recommendations to our Regional Marketing Teams and Dealers Advisory Boards to drive business success.
- Work with their team of site and media analysts to collect, distill, and summarize site and media data to present a holistic view of performance across channels with actionable insight.
- Review existing and develop new reporting and summaries for their Leadership team and Dealer Advisory Boards.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to translate campaign briefs into measurement plans using GM’s methodology and standardized KPIs.
- Identify optimization opportunities based on marketing performance that can applied not only to their regional objectives, but across GM Canada’s holdings.
- Work with our Market Research, CRM, Advanced Audience Marketing, and Optimization teams to personalize our message to our consumers.
- Perform in-depth analysis to answer key strategic questions and develop deeper insights into consumer behaviours in response to our marketing initiatives.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing for a Brand or Agency, with understanding of marketing technologies (e.g., pixels, DSPs, site analytics), and media channels (display, search, social, video).
- Excellent presentation communication, and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated analytical research capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Prior client relationship experience, particularly in an account role, is an asset.

**Technical Skills**:

- Experience with tools and platforms such as Site Analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics), DMPs (Adobe Audience Manager), DSPs (DV360, TradeDesk), SEO (AdWords, BrightEdge), and Social (Facebook Business Manager, Brandwatch) are an asset.
- Mathematical training, especially in Economics, Social Sciences, or Statistics is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability with Business Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is an asset.

**Education and Training**:

- Bachelor’s degree: a major in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Sociology are preferred.
- Adobe or Google certifications on site analytics, DMP or DSP, or SEO are an asset.
