Heritage College is a fast-growing college in Calgary. We provide in-demand career training to hundreds of Calgarians every year, allowing them to achieve better jobs and brighter careers. Our team is driven to become one of Alberta’s top career colleges, expanding into new fields of education and new communities across Canada. This position will mostly work from the Heritage College campus, with some work-from-home and remote work potential. This is a 6-month contract position, with the potential for full-time regular employment following this period depending on performance.
- Actively support the college’s goals for recruitment and growth.
- Take on responsibility for various digital marketing tasks.
- Work cohesively within a highly motivated team of support staff.
- Communicate effectively with their fellow staff members and the management staff.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage and optimize Google Ad campaigns.
- Manage and optimize Facebook Ads.
- Curate Heritage College’s Social media presence and keep followers engaged.
- Prospect new digital marketing platforms (TikTok, Microsoft Bing Ads, etc.).
- Develop and test ad creative and copy through regular A/B testing.
- Assist the admissions department by creating promotional material.
- Update and maintain the website using SEO best practices.
- Update and manage the landing page via A/B testing.
- Create, edit, and post blogs on the college’s website.
- Perform regular link building.
- Knowledge and experience of SEM.
- Research and discover new keywords and utilize WordPress.
- Track website performance on Google Analytics and SEMRush and propose improvements.
- Shoot, edit, and develop video content.
- Manage and evaluate the CRM platform to ensure best practices.
- Measure, evaluate, and report on campaign ROI and effectiveness and provide advice to management.
- Create reports and creative data visualizations to communicate insights and trends.
- Perform regular in-depth competitor research.
- Attend all monthly strategic meetings and provide positive, creative, and supportive feedback.

**Experience and Skills**
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with SEO, inbound marketing and content management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication required (CP Style experience an asset).
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console required.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- A strong understanding of web metrics and digital analytics required.
- Google Ads Certification for search and display ads an asset.
- Knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot, and Hootsuite is an asset.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) is an asset.
- Knowledge of additional marketing tools and platforms will be considered.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
