**Job**: Human Resources & Fund Development Manager (Contract)

The Human Resources & Fund Development Manager contributes to the Ark Aid Street Mission’s overall vision by achieving program goals set out by the organization. The HR/Fund manager achieves this by overseeing recruitment, job performance and scheduling of an expanding staff group, and by contributing to fundraising strategies within budgetary goals.

This is a seasonal position, ending April 1, 2023, with a potential for a permanent role in the future.

**Responsibilities**:
The HR/Fund Manager has the following responsibilities and duties:

- Oversee job descriptions, the posting of vacancies, recruitment activities including interviewing and selection, and onboarding/training of new staff
- Oversee the performance appraisal and management of existing staff including investigations and, if needed, termination
- The upkeep of proper records for compliance and reference
- Manage a small staff of administrative employees
- Liaise with organization managers and directors for decision making and future planning
- Maintaining community partnerships for the purpose of recruitment (Goodwill Industries, Pathways, etc.)
- Attend scheduled management meetings and staff/team meetings
- Review incidents for health and safety impacts
- Exude the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization throughout all of your work, and ensure you team is doing the same

**Requirements**:
The HR/Fund Manager should have the following skills, education and experience:

- Previous human resources management experience required
- CHRP, CHRL or equivalent certification
- Proven track record in leadership and team management
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Performance management experience
- Scheduling experience required
- Willingness to embrace change and conflict

**Compensation**:
Ark Aid Street Mission Inc. will provide the following compensation:

- Salary: $48, 510.00 - $57, 948.79
- Medical benefits: 4% paid out in lieu of benefits
- Insurance benefits: None
- Vacation benefits: 4% Accrued
- EFAP benefits: Yes
- Cellphone benefits: $25.00 per month
- RRSP Contribution: Source Deduction Available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $48,510.00-$57,948.79 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Human resources: 2 years (preferred)
