**Role and Responsibilities**

Our Burnaby counselling office is looking for you, an experienced Receptionist/Office Assistant. You are familiar with extended health insurance billing. You will submit predeterminations and follow up. The successful incumbent will discuss proposed treatment and fees with clients as well as making check-in calls and booking follow-up appointments.

**Day-to-day role includes the following**:
Core Duties and responsibilities
- Answering phone calls to book and/or reschedule appointments, answer patients’ inquiries related to insurance and or billing.
- Data entry and maintenance in CRM system.

Assisting the clinical team with billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Additional Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute monthly newsletter using E-mail Marketing software
- Update website as needed: update blog posts, edit text, upload images and create links on landing pages.
- Work closely with the director to assist in marketing and promotion needs.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of Grade 12,
- Experience in billing, record keeping, and extended healthcare direct billing.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently from home or in an office.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**
- Training as a MOA, (Medical Office Assistant).
- Experience working in a health or medical clinic.
- Oral skills in Mandarin/Cantonese
- Experience with WordPress.
- Experience using CRM and marketing software is preferred but not essential.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent (possibly moving into Full-time in 6 months)

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Part-time hours: Wednesdays - Saturdays (9am-5pm)
