Your main challenges
- Use your leadership skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the team and support users with their day-to-day issues
- Maintain and upgrade the SAS platform, access management and data security
- Ensure the integrity of computerized data and system stability
- Help migrate the SAS platform to the AWS Cloud and integrate SAS Viya into the Horizon advanced analytics ecosystem
More specifically, you will:
- Coordinate and supervise incident resolution, maintenance tasks and the processing of change requests
- Implement and improve internal asset management processes (release management, environment management, incident management, support requests, technical debt, vulnerabilities, etc.)
- Coach and lead the SAS Analytics team in its daily activities
- Act as an ambassador for the SAS team with our user community and promote the use of development best practices
- Ensure alignment with project teams and adapt operational processes as part of technology upgrade projects (migration to AWS Cloud environments, SAS Viya and Horizon)
- Implement and improve technology asset health indicators
- Support the manager with day-to-day management activities
**Qualifications**:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, OR a master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience, OR a university certificate/an undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and 8 years of relevant experience
- Positive, mobilizing and inclusive leadership style. Coaching skills.
- Experience managing priorities and team capacity. Ability to make decisions autonomously.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, JIRA, Scripting, Confluence, Excel
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodology
- Knowledge of SQL
- Thorough understanding of the concepts, technology and solutions related to a modern ecosystem: domain architecture, automation, Cloud technologies (AWS), security, DevOps, etc.
- Knowledge of best practices and tools for Agile software development, source code management and DevOps (Jenkins, git-Bitbucket, Nexus, Docker, etc.)
- Experience in advanced analytics, an asset
- Excellent ability to communicate technical information in plain language and understand complex technical concepts
