**Salary Range**:

The People & Culture Business Partner will be a key contributor to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace that aligns with United Way’s mission of community impact. The role will focus on a broad spectrum of human resources activities, including recruitment, employee engagement, and organizational development, while driving initiatives that build a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Working closely with managers and employees, the People & Culture Business Partner will identify and address organizational challenges, support leadership in developing their teams, and ensure HR strategies and practices reflect the values and goals of United Way. This position will also provide guidance to ensure that human resources processes are both legally compliant and thoughtfully designed to foster equity, engagement, and sustainability across all levels of United Way. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the People & Culture Business Partner:

- Supports the Director, People & Culture in the development and and execution of Human Resource strategies, implementation plans, and programs to attract and retain top talent aligned with United Ways mission and values.
- Leads initiatives to strengthen United Ways’ equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts, ensuring these principles are embedded in hiring, policies, and workplace culture.
- Supports leadership development by equipping managers with resources, skills, and strategies to effectively lead and nurture high-performing teams.
- Establishes and implements robust talent planning and development programs to ensure continuous growth, succession planning, and readiness for future leadership roles.
- Positions United Way as a preferred employer through people-focused initiatives that foster employee engagement and well-being.
- Assists in designing and implementing rewards and recognition programs to celebrate achievements and reinforce organizational values.
- Supports change management initiatives, guiding teams through organizational changes.
- Coordinates staff engagement surveys, analyzes results, and collaborates on action plans to enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity.
- Leverage people data and analytics to generate actionable insights and recommend strategic, data-driven decisions.
- Develops communication strategies to promote transparency, celebrate successes, and foster a shared sense of purpose across United Way.
- Cultivates a positive organizational culture, actively promoting an environment where employees embody and uphold United Way’s mission, vision, and values.
- Provides guidance and support on HR-related matters, serving as a trusted advisor to staff and leadership while ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Actively engages with initiatives like the Swellness Committee to promote employee well-being and inclusivity.
- Performs additional duties as required to support United Way’s operational goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s?degree?in?Human?Resources,?or?equivalent?post-secondary?education?in?a related field.
- CPHR designation (or working towards) preferred.
- Minimum?of?five?(5)?years?human?resources?experience?required.
- Advanced?proficiency?in?HRIS?software?(e.g. ?BambooHR, UKG, Payworks etc.)?is?preferred.
- Advanced?computer?software?skills?in?Microsoft?office?suite?in?a?virtual?environment required.
