**Position**: Clinical Manager, Secondary Stroke Prevention Clinic and Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation
**Dual Position**: Director for the West GTA Regional Stroke Program
**Status**:Full Time Permanent
**Department**: Neurosciences and Musculoskeletal
**Base Rate**:$112,086.00 -$168,129.00 (salary band placement commensurate with experience)

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Manage regional stroke program funds to enhance stroke care system growth and sustainability, including budget submissions and variance reporting.
- Collaborate with Stroke Regional Medical Director to address clinical and regional stroke system needs effectively.
- Develop and execute a regional stroke workplan aligned with Ontario Health Region(s) priorities and best practice evidence.
- Drive implementation of best practices across the stroke care continuum, coordinating with partner organizations for seamless care delivery. e.g., policies, clinical protocols, and processes to coordinate timely access to specialty consults, diagnostics, surgery, clinics and prevention programs; ambulance dispatch communication policies; hospital bypass protocols and community hospital triage and transport process; follow-up care and preventative interventions; stroke rehabilitation services and community reintegration supports
- Advocate for stroke region needs and priorities within local, regional, and provincial task forces and working groups.
- Lead the Regional Stroke Network Steering Committee to identify priorities and advance stroke system improvements.
- Build relationships with Ontario Health Region(s) to integrate stroke services within regional priorities.
- Manage regional stroke program infrastructure and resources, fostering effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize data to inform system priorities, monitor progress, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Support evaluation frameworks for stroke regional initiatives to achieve established performance indicators.
- Manage quality, operations, and practice within Outpatient Clinics, aligning with THP Strategic Plan and Program priorities.
- Collaborate with patients, families, internal stakeholders, and community partners to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
- Lead team in setting priorities for practice and quality improvement, responding to quality and risk issues effectively.
- Develop and manage cost center budgets, ensuring annual balanced budget in compliance with guidelines.
- Coach and mentor healthcare professionals, manage employee relations, and develop responsive workforce plans.
- Support strategic research, innovation, and education at corporate and program levels.
- Prepare proposals, briefing notes, and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and sustainability of the Neuro/MSK Program through participation in internal and external initiatives.
- Regulated Health Professional Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- Registered with the Professional governing body.
- Masters Degree preferred (MHA or MBA preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills
- 3-5 years previous leadership experience
- Proven success in implementation of program strategic goals including quality indicators, volume targets, and budget management
- Previous management of regional programs an asset
- Proven ability to manage multiple clinics and program components
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to the challenge of a busy environment with competing priorities
- Clinical stroke experience an asset
