Mercana Furniture and Décor, a leader in wholesale furniture and art in North America, is known for our 'design first' culture. We are excited to welcome a dynamic individual who shares our passion and values to join our team as a Product Claims Clerk.
As a Customer Support - Claims Clerk, you will be a key player in upholding Mercana’s brand standards by managing customer claims requests.
**Job Duties**:
- Overseeing the processing of all incoming claims requests
- Resolving ongoing claim requests (for products, parts and freight)
- Providing replacement parts or products
- This role also encompasses various administrative tasks to support different departments in executing customer service related to the claims process, including internal and external communication and paperwork preparation.
**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal English.
- Work alongside our Quality Control team to ensure company standards are adhered.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Dedicated commitment to providing superior, timely internal and external customer service
- CRM experience is an asset. Experience with Microsoft Office tools, NOP Commerce, and Business Central is highly valued.
**Education/Experience**
- Minimum education, High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of customer service support or similar customer-facing experience is an asset
