**Job Posting: Customer Support Specialist**
**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist. As the first point of contact for our valued customers, you will play a crucial role in providing information on policies and procedures, resolving issues, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Collaborating closely with our Inside Sales and Credits Team, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the organization.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Greet staff, vendors, and customers warmly upon arrival.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
- Provide exceptional customer service via our main phone line:
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional, polite, upbeat, and articulate manner, with a consistent emphasis on great customer service.
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions when needed.
- Route calls to appropriate resources if necessary.
- Manage dated sales orders within our database system to ensure the order system is up-to-date.
- Call and advise customers of pending orders, following up regularly.
- Notify customers of back orders available for shipping.
- Provide support to the inside sales team through order entry and credit investigation.
- Offer support to house accounts.
- Process incoming sales orders for designated house accounts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office floor.
- Perform light cleaning of office space and kitchen areas.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a well-organized and inclusive atmosphere.
**Skills**:
- A team player - reliable and responsible, always ready to assist the team and recognize when support is needed.
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities while remaining calm and collected.
- Positive individual with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and Business 365 Database is an asset.
