**Job Type: Full Time, Permanent**

Hours: Monday-Friday

Pay scale range: $23-28/hr (based on experience)
- On occasion when vehicle use is needed, you will be compensated for it accordingly.
- **Note**:_Due to business needs, this position is required to be on-site based at 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver._

**What you’ll be doing**:
As a Document Controller, you will be managing incoming and outgoing documents for multiple projects at various stages from initial concept to completed construction. Your main responsibility will be assisting the Project Coordinator & Technical Director to ensure all documentation is handled smoothly and efficiently. This includes the file management process for all incoming and outgoing documents related to the projects, from permits to change orders and drawings. The accuracy and care in handling these documents is of utmost importance. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for attending meetings, taking accurate taking minutes and maintaining the running action item list from project meetings. These functions are critical to the ongoing success of our projects.

The range of responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:

- Maintaining accurate records of project files.
- Ensuring all project documentation is correctly coded and filed in a timely manner.
- Supporting the development, standardization, and execution of document control processes and procedures.
- Attending meetings and taking minutes, when needed. Consolidating new action items with an ongoing task-list for each project.
- Identifying and reporting any duplications of incoming project documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal skills in both verbal and written English.
- Computer proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programs, particularly Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Prior experience working in the construction or engineering industry in a Document Control or Administrative support role.
- Excellent time management and organization skills. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to achieving goals.
- Flexible and capable of handling changes and challenges for multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to work remotely when needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a calm, clean and respectful workplace environment.

**Assets**:

- Enrolment or completion of a degree or diploma program
- 2+ years in Document Control or Administrative support role.
- Access to a vehicle & valid B.C. Driver’s licence for ease of access to various sites.

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
