Facilities and IT Coordinator

**We are currently looking for a Facilities and IT Coordinator with 1+ years of experience to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and basic IT support for a chain of growing retail stores and our headquarters.
**Key Responsibilities for Facilities**:
- Execute store and office level improvements, maintain fixtures, repair or coordinate replacement of broken retail equipment and IT equipment on-site and as required, and track progress based on urgency/priority
- Coordinate private contractors on site or at retail stores where necessary to resolve issues that require licensed professionals (plumber, electrician, etc)
- Frequent travel to retail sites as needed to assess and repair on-site issues
- Complete quarterly site audits for all Company locations, communicate maintenance and IT needs and resolutions with store supervisors and members of the retail management team
- Be the point of contact for landlord-directed maintenance issues and emergency situations such as leaks, floods, fire, robberies and break-ins, freezing rain, and snow.
- Managing records and information including documentation due to disaster incidents causing business interruption, off-site inventory of furniture, and master key file
- On an as-needed basis, coordinate installation or removal of necessary fixtures and technology components during new store construction projects or renovation projects
- Maintain new store requirement list for retail stores
**Key Responsibilities for IT**:
- Coordinates onboarding, offboarding, and setting of access rights for users based on designated access level
- Coordinate with internet, telephone, alarm system, payment terminal, camera system, and other technology vendors used by the Company to ensure functionality is maintained, cost is minimized in all circumstances and appropriate solutions are in place at all retail stores and Head Office
- Monitor contractual commitments pertaining to all technology needs listed above and present contract renewals and cost saving solutions to the corporate leadership team on a regular basis
- Set up, configure, update, and maintain various network equipment (e.g. switches, routers, servers, modems, wireless switches and access points, security cameras, firewalls, network addressing) and install software as required
- Consistently monitors camera systems to ensure ongoing functionality and data storage
- Manage G-Suite (Google Business) services for corporate employees and retail supervisors. Configure and maintain spam filters and other online protection software including antivirus and antimalware softwares
- Configure, install, and manage corporate devices including but not limited to workstations, laptops, printers, phones, handheld terminals, and tablets.
- Maintains IT asset inventory for selected stores.

- Willingness to be on-call in the case of an emergency
- Attention to detail
- Must possess a valid G class driver’s license with a clean abstract, and must have access to their own vehicle
- General construction and maintenance related knowledge
- Comfortable using basic construction hand tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience with Windows OS, Google Applications
- Previous retail maintenance experience preferred
- Able to work effectively and efficiently independently and in a team environment
