Job Summary:

Toromont CAT is seeking a highly organized and bilingual Facilities Coordinator to join our Concord Facilities Team. As a key member of our team, you will assist with project coordination, day-to-day facility operations, and communication with our French-speaking teams in Quebec.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facilities Management team with project coordination and day-to-day facility operations
  • Communicate with French-speaking teams in Quebec
  • Assist with the planning and execution of facility standards and best practices
  • Develop and maintain contractor and vendor contact lists
  • Administer Purchase Orders and Invoice Management
  • Monitor facility expenses and project-related work
  • Update project progress documentation and reports
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling day-to-day work for contractors and vendors
  • Participate in safe workplace safety and environmentally sound behaviors

Requirements:

  • Bilingual French and English
  • Post-secondary education and/or experience in skilled trades or building operations
  • Experience with virtual building management software
  • Knowledge of building systems and life safety
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
