Join our team as a full-time Branch Administrator working in the heart of downtown Cloverdale. This position offers a competitive salary in a welcoming environment.

Founded in 1927, the Cloverdale Legion is one of the largest Legion branches in Canada with over 1,500 members.

As the full-time Branch Administrator, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, can meet goals and deadlines and adapt quickly and positively to challenging situations. You will be responsible for all administration, general bookkeeping and payroll processes for the Cloverdale Legion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Process bi-weekly payroll including year-end reporting, issuance of T4 slips and ROE's and remittance of WCB payments.
- Managing inventory and purchasing of office supplies and Poppy Store orders
- Handling all preliminary bookkeeping including entering daily sales, accounts payable, invoicing, accounts receivable, GST and PST filings and bank reconciliations, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ensuring all licence renewals and required legislated and regulatory filings are completed on time
- Recording, drafting and distributing meeting minutes for the Executive.
- Filing and other routine clerical functions.

This position requires flexibility including working 1 to 2 Wednesday evenings per month to record minutes for general and executive meetings.

Qualifications:

- 3 - 5 years clerical experience in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of various software programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Quickbooks
- Excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills
- Previous payroll administration experience is required
