As a member of a professional and growing real estate management company, you will be based in the Ottawa Region and will be responsible for the Property Administrator function on a busy portfolio of commercial properties presently located mainly in Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. As a Property Administrator your main objective will be to ensure that all of the elements of the position as outlined below are being performed in an efficient manner, and to support the team. You will have a positive, professional approach in planning, scheduling, communicating, and organizing the activities of your position. The day to day role is as follows but not limited to:

- Front line tenant contact in dealing with and following up on a variety of tenant issues, including but not limited to the items described below.
- Respond to tenant repairs and maintenance requests via Angus Anywhere, dispatch appropriate contractors as required, coordinate property / tenant repairs, maintenance, etc. including scheduling, access, and contractor/vendor setup.
- Provide day to day support to the Central & Western Canada property management team
- Rent collection, arrears
- Tenant account reconciliations
- Collect and track tenant insurance certificates
- Manage utility accounts
- Coordinate tenant move in/move outs
- Maintain tenant and contractor contacts
- Coordinate/arrange building access and maintain property keys/lockboxes
- Assist Senior Property Administrators with renewal and new lease documentation process
- Track leasing and project fee billing
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reports and annual budgets
- Work closely with realty tax consultants, provide requested information, and complete documentation as required.
- Other duties as assigned

**Preferred Experience**:

- A minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Property Administrator is required
- Bilingual in English and French would be an asset
- Strong understanding of commercial leases
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Angus Anywhere, MRI and Yardi would be an asset
- Personable, pleasant demeanor
- Experience in reconciling tenant rent accounts.
- Superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office

**Hours of Work**

The Employee will mainly work core hours between 9AM and 5PM, Monday to Friday, however, the employee acknowledges that due to the nature of the role, it will be expected that the employee will also be available 24/7 from time to time for on call emergencies and have access to a vehicle if required.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
