Achen Henderson (“AH”) is looking for a full-time* Leader of Bookkeeping Operations *who will work directly with our GURU Customers and our fast-growing GURU Team. Our Leader of Bookkeeping Operations will mentor and oversee a team of experienced bookkeepers and must have substantial customer service experience and be comfortable operating in an entirely cloud-based software environment.

The Leader of Bookkeeping Operations reports directly to the Founders at AH and is responsible for all aspects of the bookkeeping business including:

- Interview and then train newly hired GURU Team members.
- Regular quality control and bookkeeping reviews and coaching to improve capacity and efficiency.
- Act as a resource and mentor for our GURU Team members with regards to cloud-accounting technologies and general bookkeeping matters.
- Technology assessment, selection and deployment for the GURU Team as a whole and for our new and existing GURU Customers.
- Integration of new GURU Customers into our cloud-based systems, including bookkeeping catch ups.
- Organizational level data analytics for reporting to the Founders at AH.

On a strategic level, you will work directly with our leadership team to understand our client’s accounting and reporting challenges and continually develop scalable, cloud-based solutions as technology changes. You will oversee client deliverables and ensure our team has met these deliverables. You and your team are the technical gurus, innovating and delivering results. This role is highly engaging and highly interactive.

You will have the ongoing support of all AH resources, including our various professional teams, to deliver timely and accurate accounting and payroll services. Extensive leadership, accounting and bookkeeping experience are required.

AH is 100% cloud-based and uses only cloud-based accounting platforms. A detailed working knowledge and advance certifications in Xero, QBO, Dext, Hubdoc, Plooto, Wagepoint, Payment Evolution, Microsoft 365/Teams and others cloud-based apps are a plus. If you don’t already have them, you will be expected to become certified when you start.
We welcome entrepreneurs who already own bookkeeping practice and have their own clients, provided they are willing to roll those clients into our broader offering in order to focus on the business. Salary, wages, benefits, and bonuses are determined by your experience and fit. All our Stakeholders are paid near the top 5% in their respective areas of expertise.
