Executive HR Advisor

**Position Purpose**:
The Executive Advisor works with clients to uncover their HR needs and build Custom Key Initiative Plans to help them to make the most of their McLean & Company membership, leading to increased engagement and renewals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Building trusted peer relationships with HR leadership clients, meeting with them remotely and serving as their guide as they navigate McLean & Company resources.
- Conducting discovery discussions with each client to guide their use of McLean & Company research and delivering a customized resource plan.
- Proactively partnering with the Sales team partners to ensure client-focus, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring account health., as well as joining proof-of-concept calls
- Providing regular check-ins for clients to support delivery of their priorities and leveraging McLean & Company research.
- Providing additional client calls on strategic HR research topics, supporting debrief discussions of select diagnostics tools, and facilitating client discussions on keynote topics.
- Facilitating McLean & Company webinars and roundtables, primarily in a virtual setting.
- Providing insight to the broader HR Research team on client needs and HR industry trends.
- Managing a defined book of business ensuring retention and identifying growth opportunities.
- Ensuring an exceptional client experience through collaboration, CRM administration, and participation in special projects as required.
- Participation in occasional McLean & Company in-person events (i.e. Annual Signature Conference, etc)
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR, with 3-5 years leading an HR team or HR function (VP’s, Directors of a specific function, etc), preferably in large companies (1,000+) with global experience
- Subject matter expertise across multiple functions in McLean & Company’s HR taxonomy
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and/or leaders at all levels across the organization.
- Proven ability to participate in unstructured value-added discussions with clients and provide insights on HR industry trends.
- Collaborative, with superior listening, critical thinking, influencing abilities and verbal/written communication skills.
- Independent self-starter with strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, flexible, rapidly changing work environment.
- Intellectually curious about the effect of HR on the business landscape, with a passion for continuous learning.
- Solid business instincts and a practical understanding of what makes companies tick and how HR professionals/executive teams operate.
- Proven ability to work in a matrix environment.

- Client meetings may require working outside of the standard business hours
**Preferred qualifications**
- HR certification preferred (e.g. CHRP, CHRL, SHRM).
- Coaching certification a plus
