Paterson Group’s client base includes major developers, building owners, property management firms, condominium properties, and many other public and private housing and commercial building groups.

The Ottawa office has an immediate opening for a full-time Training and Marketing Coordinator position that will assist in a variety of training and development tasks, as well as the creation and execution of marketing strategies. This position requires a combination of instructional expertise, interpersonal skills, and a passion for communications and marketing.

Under the supervision of the President and the Business Development Committee, the Training and Marketing Coordinator will assist with the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees’ skills, enabling them to fulfil their potential within the organization. They will assist in the creation and execution of our learning infrastructure, using the on-line training platform Learn Upon, partnering with Division Directors to identify training needs, design solutions, and implement engaging, impactful learning programs driving organizational growth. This position will also focus on increasing the company’s on-line presence through fresh, innovative and creative communication and marketing strategies.

**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Communicating through engaging and effective learning materials tailored to various levels of learners;
- Updating and maintaining content in our Learn Upon Training Platform;
- Aiding in the creation and execution of marketing strategies;
- Aiding in the preparation of social media content;
- Assisting in the production of marketing and internal content;
- Assisting and managing the operations of the business development committee.
- Degree/Diploma in business, public relations, communications, marketing, or related field;
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field;
- Above average verbal, grammar, and written communication skills in both English and French;
- Proficient with Adobe Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office; (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, SharePoint) and other communication or productivity tools;
- Experience in creative and promotional writing;
- Experience in developing content for and monitoring social media sites is important, as is experience in preparing multimedia presentations;
- Strong technical skills and experience with audio and video editing tools;
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Exceptional work ethic with the ability to manage-through multiple, competing priorities;
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision;
- Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
