Security - Team Lead - Southgate Mall
**Essential Job Functions**:

- Review Incident Reports to ensure that standard are maintained in accordance with the sites protocols.
- Assist the Site Supervisor with initial and ongoing site training programs.
- Participate in regular meetings with the clients and Site Supervisor
- Coach and motivate front line personnel in their day-to-day duties, ensuring site morale is maintained.
- Supervise the site security staff and act as a resource for any issues in accordance with Paladin and client policies and procedures.
- Monitor performance of front-line staff and document/discipline staff where standards are not being met; provide regular and thorough feedback to the Site Supervisor.
- Perform regular patrols within the Shopping Centre
- Complete monthly CCTV room client audits on the dispatcher office and files
- After hours on call in rotation basis
- Maintain site uniform stock
- Ensuring staff are uniformed and uniforms are in good repair
- Report any operational issues directly to the Site Supervisor
- Schedule staff and submit payroll discrepancies as needed.
- Clerical duties such as filing and drafting of memos as required.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Valid Alberta Security License or ability to obtain one
- Must be bondable
- Minimum three years Security Experience with at least one year in a supervisory role or post-secondary diploma/certificate in a related field.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and own vehicle
- Ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate, and solve complex problems.
- Effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Basic computer proficiency, report-writing, and note-taking skills
