**_ Front Desk Customer Care Associate:_**

MVO is currently seeking a Front Desk Customer Care Associate that is ready to be a major contributor to our outstanding, high performing NW Calgary team. This position is a front-line role, in which you are the face and voice of our dynamic practice.

The core of the Front Desk Customer Care Associate role is to provide a memorable, compassionate, protective, and professional customer experience to every patient. Supportive, knowledgeable, and courtesy communication is the key to helping patients discover why they should choose Mountain View Optometry for their overall eye care.
- Tasks:_
- Greeting patients and answering phones
- Booking appointments by gathering and investigating information
- Checking patients in and out and confirming demographic information
- processing referrals, payments, insurance
- Other administrative-accounting tasks
- Contact Lens Sales
- Product Inventory Management
- Patient Follow-up
- Assisting pretest and optical departments

**_ Skills and abilities:_**
- The ability to build genuine and supportive relationships-customer service excellence
- Medical Office Assistant or previous experience in a customer focused, service desk role is an asset but not required
- Experience with an EMR, keyboarding and being a “technophile” is an asset
- Outgoing, purposeful individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication, written skills, and a professional telephone manner
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Determined to continually improve and learn
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational and administrative skills
- Team-player
