Medical Receptionist

*Duties*
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain electronic health records using medical software such as Epic or Dentrix
- Assist with billing and EHB billing tasks
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Keep the reception area organized and tidy
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a occupational therapy and or counselling office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using HCAI and knowledge of Extended Health Billing
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficient in working withint several operating systems
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, staff, and providers
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with phone systems and handling high call volumes

**SALARY RANGE**
Given applicants will be of variable backgrounds for this position, compensation will be discussed at the time of interviewing based on skill level, experience and education.
