This role is accountable for following established procedures and guidelines to perform clerical accounting accurately and on time. Please read on for further responsibilities and job requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Post journal or voucher entries.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Verify, sort, post, and check claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers.
- Maintain accurate financial records or account books (for example, a creditors and debtors ledger).
- Classify, code, and record financial transactions and post entries to the general ledger.
- Support the Accounting Team as required.

**Job Requirements**:

- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- 6 months to 2+ years of experience in the field of accounting.
- Graduation from a recognized accounting program is a strong _asset._
- The ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Highly proficient at Microsoft.
- Excel and general Accounting Software.
- Familiar with full-cycle accounting processes.
