Your Role
The Export Document Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the documentation and execution of P&H's bulk vessel shipping program. This position requires close collaboration with traders, vessel brokers and agents, surveyors, and terminals to ensure the efficient and timely execution of shipments.
Day to Day
Prepare detailed shipping information for customers and surveyors.
Coordinate with vessel agents, surveyors, and testing labs to prepare necessary vessel documents and shipping labels.
Manage invoices and settlements for products, freight, and service costs.
Handle the processing of vessel invoices.
Create and file all required customs documentation, including custom manifests and B13 forms.
Prepare and review laytime calculations.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize vessel timings for loading and unloading.
**Qualifications**:
2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry practices and protocols.
Experience in the agricultural industry is an asset.
Strong knowledge of terminology related to agriculture, logistics, and the movement of goods.
Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Application Suite, with a high proficiency in Excel.
