**This is the role**:
We are looking for professionals to join our Milton team as a Production Manager. As a member of the Factory Management Team at the factory the Production Manager is responsible for the overall development of the production areas under his/her responsibility. You will have 4 production supervisors that will directly report to you in which you will coach and manage the overall production team in a fast paced environment.

**This is What You Offer**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university (preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) required.
- Production management experience within a continuous flow manufacturing plant.
- Minimum 5 years production management experience in manufacturing.
- Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong experience with MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Project)
- Proven Leadership skills.
- Employee relations experience in a union environment required.
**Essential Functions**:
- Responsible for Supervisors being familiar with, and working according to, all health and safety requirements applicable in the area of responsibility, and working towards a continuous improvement of health and safety requirements.
- Responsible for machinery and equipment operating in a safe and reliable manner at any time.
- Responsible for employees hired within the area of responsibility being familiar with and working according to Rockwool management system with special attention to all policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the quality of products produced including delivery time and cost.
- Follow-up as well as reporting of ROCKWOOL Operations Excellence (ROPEX) activities and results within the area of responsibility.
- Responsible for a commercial execution of the daily operations, as well as a professional development of the area of responsibility including Production Department and Yard area.
- Responsible for a detailed planning of the production schedule taking delivery times into consideration.
- Continuous improvement and development of the Performance Key Figures (PKFs).
- Ensuring that maintenance is informed about all relevant defects, downtime issues, performance issues.
**Salary**: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
