Working with the Human Resources team, the Consultant provides services and advice to staff and leaders with respect to Human Resources practices in the areas of: recruitment, compensation, performance, attendance management, career coaching, labour and employee relations and program design to support the work of various clinical and support services.

The Consultant supports and consults with leaders on changes within programs, advises on new work design, the development of new programs and policies and provides guidance and recommendations for conflict resolution. The Consultant supports the organization in facilitating investigations and advice related to the corporate policy, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Privacy, matters related to professional practice and other violations. The consultant reviews and amend the current Human Resources policies and provide input on the implementation of new policies. Additionally, the Consultant is called upon to help guide and influence the goals to support the strategic plan and the direction of various clinical programs.

Your self-motivation, outcome focused approach, ability to influence across multiple domains and exceptional communication skills will assist your ability to solve conflict and represent the organization as a strategic partner.

St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties

You will be required to provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella and varicella (chicken pox) and provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing. Also provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine or proof of one dose and a signed commitment to receive a second dose within a specified timeframe, and a written commitment to follow any future Public Health recommendations and St. Joseph's Health Care London policies and processes related to Covid management in the workplace
