**_Community First Development Inc. is looking to employ a Full-Time Experienced Maintenance Worker_**

**Maintenance Skills & Experiences**:

- Experienced in repairs and general maintenance including mechanical, electrical and plumbing troubleshooting.
- Removal and installation of kitchen and bathroom hardware (countertops, sinks, toilets, cabinets)
- Carpentry and painting
- Maintenance of common areas
- Respond to all emergencies
- Knowledge of Ontario Fire Code and Building Codes required.
- Knowledge or experience of using work orders
- Tools and equipment maintenance
- Replace all burnt-out light bulbs
- check for any water penetration or water stains on ceilings
- Repair or report to the Property Manager any doors or painted surface which shows signs of being scratched, chipped or damaged
- Assist and accompany all service personnel to maintenance areas (door to be opened and locked)
- Co-ordinate disposal of hazardous material with the Property Manager.
- Respond to all emergencies such as fire, elevator, flood, lack of heat, power failure and other such problems that could be deemed as an emergency

**Qualifications**:

- Must have 2-3 years prior maintenance experience within a residential property.
- Good administrative skills
- Good leadership skills
- Able to work well as a team
- Able to work with and relate to a diverse client base including people of various cultures, abilities, and social and economic backgrounds.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision. This position will also require the applicant to demonstrate a high degree of self-initiation.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload and inventory.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check required upon hire.

Full-Time Hours

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
