What does a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) do at Johnston Equipment? This role is meant to attract proven sales leaders or accomplished senior sales representatives who thrive on having a significant impact on the organization by leading and developing the sales teams to drive consistent attainment of financial indices while ensuring the needs of our customers are effectively addressed. You have been and have enjoyed selling value and stand behind a strong brand, service, and quality product. In addition whether in a direct or indirect role you are a proven leader with a track record of growing and developing others. With a minimum of 10 years sales experience and defined leadership experience you easily develop regional sales and coverage plans, develop and execute employee development plans while managing the sales team to achieve its financial requirements/targets.

You have loved what you have done as a sales professional and leader and plan to continue to build on your career as an individual contributor that envisions a long-term future in leadership roles for years to come. You are at the mid-point in your career and want to take your experience in sales, business development and leadership to a more rewarding level professionally.

The Regional Sales Manager holds P&L accountability, provides operational sales leadership for the growth and development of sales in the region and is accountable for ensuring sales achieves agreed upon financial, strategic and operational goals and objectives. This includes the development and implementation of annual plans and budgets for areas under his/her direct control; the monitoring and coordination of regional sales results to annual planning and budget targets and the monitoring of adherence to sales related policies, standards and processes.
