In addition, our management team oversees the day-to-day activities of almost 70 hotels also making InnVest the largest independent operator of hotels in Canada. **THE ROLE**:
**ACTIVITIES**:
The duties of the Sales Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
Ø Respond to incoming group and catering opportunities via various distribution channels, including Cvent and Delphi.

Ø Proficiently leverage Salesforce tools for managing the sales pipeline and contract management.

Ø Actively engage with clients and prospects through industry events, site visits, entertainment and office meetings.

Ø Successfully achieve or exceed individual pace/production goals based on assigned markets.

Ø Efficiently secure new and repeat business by actively engaging in prospecting, conducting site tours, participating in sales blitzes, and ensuring prompt and competent follow-up on leads/referrals.

Ø Leverage effective networking strategies to maximize room revenue and exceed both individual and team sales goals.

Ø Collaborate with the operations and catering teams to ensure the flawless execution of group events.

Ø Stay informed about our competitive landscape and make recommendations for sales, pricing, service, and product enhancements to maintain our competitiveness.

Ø Develop and continually enhance relationships with key accounts, business and travel industry accounts, community organizations and professional associations to maintain high visibility and increase market share.

Ø Successfully and consistently achieve minimum weekly sales activities requirements.

Ø Track all weekly sales activities including goal-to-current production status using Delphi.

Ø Conduct sales presentations to clients verbally and using the latest technology.

Ø Conduct site inspections.

Ø Travel as needed, to complete personal sales calls and presentations to customers within your discipline/ region.

Ø Be nimble, when writing the marketing action plans that you will create and complete.

Ø Build creative proposals.

Ø Negotiate and execute contracts that are fair and profitable.

Ø Some travel may be required.

**COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING**:
Ø A minimum of 2 years of hotel sales management experience, preferably in the group segment and within upscale hotels.

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management, Business, or a related field of study is preferred.

Ø Proficiency in computer software including Delphi sales software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce.

Ø Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.

Ø The capability to translate vision into actionable strategies that benefit the hotel.

Ø Diplomacy in handling challenging situations and individuals while maintaining professionalism.

Ø Adaptability to rapidly changing market dynamics and needs.

Ø Demonstrated strong selling skills and alignment with the Kimpton Culture

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M5S 1V8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
