**HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR**

The position will be working within the Human Resources Department for a unionized manufacturing facility of about 450 employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate onboarding process for all new recruits
- Provide training to hourly employees on Human Relations processes and policies during the onboarding process.
- Maintain constructive relations with Unions representative and Management Team
- Provide effective support to Management and actively work to achieve continuous improvement in the areas of the Human Relations function
- Managing personnel records
- Managing Disability Claims
- Managing employee performance reports and tracking progress
- Managing Employee Absenteeism program
- Other assignments and projects as HR and business needs dictate
- Completion of post-secondary degree or certificate in Human Resources
- 1 to 3 years of Human Resources working experience
- CPHR designation
- is an asset
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset
- Knowledge of HR trends, practices and recruiting
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience dealing with a unionized workforce is preferred
- Must be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
- Must be able to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
- The ability to meet goals with mínimal supervision and good business sense
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Note: To comply with food exporting requirements to the United States, all FG Deli new hires are required to pass criminal and background checks

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
