**Position Summary**

As an IT Project Manager in our Identification (ID) Program Management group, you will be responsible for ensuring the on-time, on-budget delivery of in scope ID system (e.g. border management, passport issuing, etc.) solutions for our government customers around the world.

**What You Will Do**

- ** Project Initiation**-
- Defining Scope:_

Work with stakeholders to define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables.- Resource Allocation:_

Determine the resources (time, money, personnel) needed for the project and allocate them accordingly.- Timeline Creation:_

Develop a detailed project timeline, including milestones and deadlines.- Original Budget Creation:_

Set-up the original budget for the project for each labour and expense category.
- ** Budget Management**-
- Cost Forecasting:_

Forecast the costs for each labour and expense category as the project unfolds.- Budget Tracking:_

Monitor the project’s financial performance, ensuring that spending stays within the approved budget.- Financial Reporting:_

Prepare financial reports to keep stakeholders informed about the project’s budget status.
- ** Schedule Management**-
- Baseline Schedule Creation:_

Create the Baseline schedule for the project aligned with the initial budget- Schedule Tracking:_

Maintain and update the schedule by updating the actual and planned start and end dates of each activity, with a focus to ensure timely delivery- Milestone reporting:_

Report schedule progress, based on milestones relative to the baseline.
- ** **Stakeholder Communication**-
- Regular Updates:_- Feedback Incorporation:_

Gather feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the project plan as needed.- Conflict Resolution:_

Address any conflicts or issues that arise among stakeholders to keep the project on track.
- ** Risk Management**-
- Risk Identification:_

Identify potential risks that could impact the project’s success.- Risk Mitigation:_

Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks, such as contingency plans.- Risk Monitoring:_

Continuously monitor risks throughout the project and adjust plans as necessary.
- ** Team Coordination**-
- Task Delegation:_

Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise.- Performance Monitoring:_

Monitor the performance of team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.- Team Support:_

Provide support and guidance to team members, helping to resolve any issues that arise.
- ** Progress Reporting**-
- Data Collection:_

Collect data on project performance, such as task completion rates and quality metrics.- Analysis:_

Analyze the data to identify trends and areas for improvement.- Reporting:_

Prepare detailed reports on project progress and present them to stakeholders.

**Qualifications**

***

**_ Knowledge and Experience_**
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or similar) or an equivalent combination of education and years of relevant work experience
- Relevant certifications will be considered assets (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master, ITIL, etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems (architecture, infrastructure, technologies, methodologies, etc.)
- 7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects
- Proficiency with MS O365, MS Project
