Progressive Paediatrics provides high quality, evidence-based practice for children & youth with developmental and mental health challenges. The Progressive Paediatric team includes behavior consultants, occupational therapists, registered dietitian, registered nurse, and speech-language pathologists. We strive for excellence for our clients and all our consultants have a minimum of five years of experience in their field. We provide services in homes, in schools, virtually, and out of our office location at ElmTree clinic where we are immersed with some of the top infant and child psychiatrists in Canada.

Progressive Paediatrics is looking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist for our growing company on commission-based salary, with a reasonable start-up caseload provided.

Progressive Paediatrics will:

- Market and advertise you, your skill set and your passionate areas of practice
- Attain and manage clients, contracts, and billing on your behalf
- Mentor and support you through experienced speech-language pathologists.
- Offer WCB and employment insurance stability as an employee versus contractor
- Provide access to assessment kits and therapy equipment, including a small therapy gym and meeting space in the ElmTree clinic
- Support equality and transparency within the company through equalized professional rates

Applicant requirements:

- Licensed with ACSLPA in good standing with proof of at least $5,000,000 professional practice liability insurance.
- A proven track record with 5 years of paediatric experience working within a developmental model
- Expertise in supporting students requiring AAC is urgently needed and preference will be given to applicants with those skills
- Passionate about supporting families and education teams
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Initiative for new ideas and growth within our company
- Ability to work flexible hours throughout the week to meet our client’s needs
- Ability to commute to see clients within Edmonton and rural Alberta as agreed upon
- Proof of Clean Police Records Check with Vulnerable Sector and Government of Alberta Child Intervention Check within 6 months

Hours: Variable and determined by clinician

**Salary**: $55.00-$110.00 per hour
