Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at From Play To Words. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with clients and their families to set speech goals that are language-focused and have targeted, measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct service, consultation, mediation, and education to clients, families, and community providers with a focus on maximizing a child's function in the areas of articulation difficulties, motor speech disorders, language delays, and learning disabilities.
  • Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based practice.
  • Provision of in-school consultations to parents and/or teachers as and when needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Canadian Speech Language Pathologist Therapist Program.
  • Must be registered or eligible to be registered with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
  • Minimum one (1) year clinical experience. Experience in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, will be an asset.
  • PROMPT training is an asset.

Work Environment:

Full-time position with flexible work schedules (daytime/evening) available. The administrative part of the work (e.g. report writing etc.) can be completed from a home office.
