Job Title: Sales Support & Proposals Specialist
Location: Ottawa, ON Department: Sales Reports To: National Sales Executive
Job Summary: The Sales Support & Proposals Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the effectiveness of the sales team by providing comprehensive support in proposal development, client communication, and Account Management. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored proposals that meet client needs and align with company offerings.
- Gather and analyze information to develop compelling and persuasive content.
- Ensure all proposals are compliant with company standards and branding guidelines.
- Sales Support:
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, reports, and other materials as needed.
- Identify potential qualified sales leads achieving monthly sales target.
- Maintain an organized database of sales documents, templates, and resources for easy access by the sales team.
- Coordinate logistics for client meetings, including scheduling and preparing meeting agendas.
- Coordinate Social media posts with providers i.e. LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding proposal inquiries and follow-ups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Outreach and virtual demonstrations to assist with upgrading clients to newest product lines, upselling new features, cold calls, etc.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Monitor a variety of bid & procurement sites daily and identify opportunities for submission.
- Track proposal submissions and outcomes, providing insights and analysis to the sales team and participate in debriefing sessions as needed.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of sales processes and best practices.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including data entry, CRM management, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, proposal writing, or a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Bid & Tender sites utilized Nationally in Canada.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Parking Access & Revenue Control (PARCS) industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for proposal visuals.
- Knowledge of sales processes and best practices.
- Bilingualism (English \ French) an asset.

Pay: $66,210.00-$70,968.00 per year
