**Responsibilities**:
- Daily entry of key financial transactions into database
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Communicate with clients regarding any invoice issue.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and handing of invoices in QuickBooks, Epicor, and other software.
- Track outstanding payment.
- Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Performing daily, weekly, and month-end closings.
- Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules.
- Preparing the trial balance
- Reconciles Revenue and COGS
- Posts customers and suppliers' invoice to QuickBooks, Epicor, and other software
- Bank reconciliation and deposits.
- Reconciles and balance all accounts.
- Keeps organized records and files.
- Full cycle accounting including month-end and year-end processes, journal entries, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Monitor reporting processes to ensure timely strategic information for management decision making
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
- Assisting with the management of tax filing processes to ensure compliance with corporate tax, HST and other government reconciliations and remittances
- Assisting with managing payroll processing systems.
- Analyzing business results and make recommendations for improvement
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in business or accounting at the college level or higher
- 3 years' experience in a similar, hands-on role
- Prior experience using accounting software
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Motivated and ability to take initiative
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient in both an independent environment and as part of a team
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
