We are looking for a passionate, creative communications professional to join our dynamic team at BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation. This position will provide communications services to help promote the Foundation and contribute to the development and maintenance of positive relationships with BCAITC stakeholders.

The responsibilities will include:

- Create a communications plan and calendar consistent with the organization’s strategic plan
- Create compelling written and visual content for online and print communications
- Take informal pictures of association activities at events and shows
- Manage and monitor social media account activity and engage community users

(Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vimeo, Pinterest) Adjust content to improve impact
- Website updates and maintenance, including GIS map information
- Assist in coordination of tours and events
- Assist with stakeholder relations
- Represent BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation at industry trade shows, events and tours and coordinate displays at the same
- Assist at organization fundraisers and educational events
- General administration to support the communication activities.
