We are looking for an individual who has a strong background working in environments that are client-facing, open to collaborating with colleagues, willingness, and ability to continuously learn new things and retain what has been learned, has competency in understanding accounting processes, is empathetic, and is a strong communicator.

**About the Job**:

- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization.
- Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers.
- Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities.
- Review financial information and documents quarterly and annual basis to ensure compliance and in preparation for financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents for employees.
- Processing incoming payments by cheque, credit card, direct deposits, and EFT.
- Send invoicing to customers to request payments for services or goods provided.
- Prepare and make bank deposits.
- Handle payroll functions as required.
- Manage client accounts and payment schedule.

**Qualifications Include**:

- Post secondary education in accounting or equivalent experience.
- A good knowledge of accounting principles.
- 6+ years hands on bookkeeping experience considered an asset.
- Advanced computer skills with experience in QuickBooks / Excel and other accounting software.
- Experience with ADP software.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently with little direction.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Follow-through as well as problem solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to many changes.
- Strong work ethic, dedicated and reliable.
- **Legally able to work in Canada.**
