Halifax, Canada Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development Full time

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance & Administration, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative duties, weekly/monthly bookkeeping and providing administrative support to the team. This individual will have excellent organizational and time-management skills, be a self-starter, and have experience using Microsoft 365. Attention to detail is a must. **This is a contract position until March 2025.**

The duties will include, but are not limited to:
**General administrative duties**

**Organize and schedule meetings**

**Maintain contact lists**

**Assist with event planning and execution**

**Provide administrative support to the team**

**Assist the Program Manager with KPI reporting**

**Manage and track all office equipment**

**Credit card reconciliations**

**Accounts Payable**

**Provide month-end reports for finance**

**Adhoc administrative or bookkeeping duties as required**

**Qualifications**

**Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related experience**

**1-3 years related accounting and administrative experience**

**Knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices**

**Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook**

**Excellent interpersonal skills**

**Well-organized and able to multi-task**

**Strong analytical and problem-solving skills**

**Effective written and oral communication skills**

**Self-motivated, and able to work independently**

**Additional Information**:
This is a full-time position offering a competitive benefits package and RRSP matching. A typical workweek is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
