**Pay band/Salary**:$84,800.00 - $106,001

**What you will do**:
Under the general direction of the Information Technology Security Manager, the security analyst provides immediate and detailed response activities to mitigate or limit unauthorized cybersecurity threats and incidents within the organization. This includes planning and developing courses of action; prioritizing activities; and supporting recovery operations and post-incident analysis.

You will:

- Conduct security triage to identify and analyze cyber incidents and threats.
- Actively monitor networks and systems for cyber incidents and threats
- Collect and analyze data to identify cybersecurity flaws and vulnerabilities and make recommendations that enable prompt remediation
- Define and maintain tool sets and procedures
- Provide incident analysis support on response plans and activities
- Monitor all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations.
- Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security.
- Conduct self-directed investigations into suspicious activity and work with the security team to initiate the incident response plan when needed.
- Work on and collaborate with the rest of the cyber security team members on projects defined in the security project roadmap.

**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**
- College Diploma or University Degree in IT field, ideally with specialization in IT/Cybersecurity, network security or similar
- Cybersecurity operations training with industry-level certification in related field (e.g. security operations, network security, threat detection and mitigation, security appliance operations)

**Experience & Skills**
- 1 years' experience in related field
- successful working in an IT environment and technical team setting for a minimum of at least 1 year.
