**THE POSITION**

We’re looking for an energetic and personable individual to lead our Sales and Success teams who embodies our values and culture and will make sales excellence a key part of the Helcim Way.

You’ll have lots of responsibility, and with it lots of room to bring your creativity and ideas to further enhance the work of the sales and success teams, their connection to our customers, and drive ever greater sales results. You will ensure our company remains true to our mission of being the most loved payments company through every interaction that we have with our merchants, while building and driving a high performing sales culture. **KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Foster a High Performance Team:

- Adept at hiring and coaching new team members to build a high performance sales team, comfortable with training on handling objections, and empowering team members to remove hurdles.
- Intuitive and positive outlook with the motivation to adapt and excel in a continually changing environment.
- Coach and mentor inbound and outbound Sales Specialists to achieve their targets.
- Continue to build on KPI’s and targets for Success Specialists coaching the team to improve efficiencies, remove performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
- Sales and Success Leadership:

- Ability to energize and focus the sales and success team on goals through setting clear expectations, encouragement, and recognizing wins
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong aptitude in managing both internal and external relationships and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in sales processes, pipelines, and strategies to guide the team in reaching targets.
- Ability to understand customer retention, satisfaction, and turning feedback into actionable insights to reduce churn.
- Redefine the customer onboarding process to ensure a seamless sales to post sales journey.
- Define Sales Plan and Objectives:

- Develop, evaluate and implement sales and success strategies and objectives while managing day-to-day operations.
- Constantly analyze our key metrics, business trends/market and team performance to adapt, evolve and grow both new and existing sales channels.
- Sales and Customer Success Expertise
- Demonstrated experience in leading sales and success teams and building in a high growth startup environment, experience in SaaS, technology or financial services, or B2B sales is an asset.
- Mentor and coach a high performing sales team that has a high degree of ownership and collaboration, excellent product/market knowledge and can use solution and brand based selling to drive performance across their portfolios.
- Mentor and coach a Success team that is still in its early stages of development. There is a lot of strategic work that can be done to align the Success team more closely with our sales team and growth sales targets.
