**ABOUT THE AMAZING BRENTWOOD**

This is a co-venture by SHAPE, Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan, and L. Catterton Real Estate and is one of BC’s largest master-planned mixed-use communities that will feature world-class shops, restaurants, a public plaza and over 6,000 new homes. The project will be over one million square feet and has a target completion date of 2025. Phase One is complete, which includes three residential towers, and 500,000 square feet of active space, and the planning for Phase Two is underway, which will include two new residential towers and an additional 560,000 square feet of retail and public spaces.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our accounting and operations team, primarily coordinating bookkeeping and administration.

**Primary Job Responsibilities**
- Accounting_
- Enter and deposit weekly Cheque Receivables
- Enter weekly EFT Receivables
- Maintain and update monthly tenant Utility billing reports and send invoices to tenants
- Maintain and update monthly tenant % Rent and % Rent-in-lieu billing and send invoices to tenants
- Manage accounts receivable as well as update and complete monthly AR Report
- Respond to tenant requests regarding rental payments
- Assist with new tenant opening packages
- Prepare weekly Payables for coding and process payables for weekly payment
- Prepare Purchase Orders and follow-up on outstanding Purchase Orders
- Respond to vendor requests regarding outstanding payments
- Manage Utility accounts, including the transfer of new services by tenants
- Send tenant rent step-up invoicing and notify of any changes in monthly rent due
- Prepare PAD report for the upcoming month
- Maintain and prepare monthly accruals
- Manage record keeping, filing and the organization of leases
- Assist with end of year CAM reconciliations and new year rental notice packages
- Operations_

- Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

**Qualifications**
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities_
- Previous experience with Yardi and Payscan would be beneficial
- Required Training and Experience_
- Post-secondary education in the Finance field is a plus
- Previous experience in Property Management would be valuable
- Previous experience at a mixed-use site is an asset (but not necessary)

**Working Conditions**

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months.
