**Your Opportunity**:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing professional administrative support to the Employee Relations team and handles a full range of complex administrative and project related duties. This position has a high degree of independence, operates with a high degree of confidential information, interacts with various clients, and manages a high volume of sensitive material. Reporting to the Manager, Employee Relations, and as a key contact for the Employee Relations team, the nature of the work is diverse and assists the team with the implementation of services, policies and programs. The Administrative Assistant communicates effectively while delivering various information in a diplomatic and concise manner to all stakeholders and escalates issues as needed.

**Description**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to, preparing meeting background material on a daily basis; maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements; prepares various correspondence and formats various letters, memos and briefing notes; booking meeting rooms and catering, preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes; organizing and preparing information requests; entering and maintaining files and records into databases; carrying out routine administrative inquiries and providing back-up admin support and coverage including timekeeping and payroll duties.

**Required Qualifications**:
A minimum of high school completion plus completion of related office administration diploma or certificate. Minimum two years’ related administrative/secretarial experience preferably in a healthcare environment. Excellent computer skills and working with various software programs such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom, Access, Excel, Word, Visio, Powerpoint, etc.. Equivalencies will be considered including post secondary students interested in summer employment.
