**Job Summary**:
The Payroll Analyst works with payroll team members to process semi-monthly payroll for the organization. The Analyst will provide exceptional service and support to staff and provides end-user support for the Kronos Scheduling and Time and Attendance Modules. This position requires an excellent understanding of the full payroll cycle with an emphasis on scheduling and timekeeping processes and procedures.

**Job Duties**:
**Establishment and Monitoring of internal controls**
- Processes semi-monthly payroll for 1800 salaried and hourly staff
- Provides end-user support and training to staff for the Kronos Scheduling and Time System
- Serves as the in-house Subject Matter Expert for Kronos and makes recommendations related to time and attendance policy and procedures.
- Maintains both employee and company-level Kronos data in compliance with all agency policies and employment standards
- Coordinates Kronos process improvement projects and supports scheduling and timekeeping best practices
- Configures and maintains the scheduling and time and attendance system and ensures that all process documentation is current
- Works collaboratively with all areas of the agency to ensure the integrity of the scheduling and timekeeping process
- Responds to employee inquiries with tact and diplomacy in a timely and professional manner
- Performs other related duties as required

**Formal Education and Experience**:

- Diploma in Payroll / Accounting, or related business program
- Two years of recent work experience in a Payroll
- Prior experience with Kronos is an asset
- A demonstrated understanding of the payroll process
- Additional relevant certifications or designations considered an asset
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
