We are a leader in creating communities for active older adults. We are seeking a _**Building CAD Technician **_to join our team based in Halifax, NS.

This position holds responsibility to prepare and update conceptual designs and construction drawing sets to support the project team in the execution of multi-unit building construction projects.

**What you will do**:

- Prepare, submit, and revise Architectural drawings for building permit approval packages as required, including Floorplans, Ceiling plans, Elevations, Building Sections, Schedules, etc.
- Check and verify design drawings conform to specifications, design standards and building code.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary drawing sets from consultants to identify design interferences across; structural, civil, mechanical and electrical design.
- Prepare construction ready drawings for costing, and material estimates.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as in a team environment.

**Your required experience & abilities**
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Autodesk AutoCad or Revit design softwares.
- Degree or Diploma in Architectural Engineering or similar combination of education and experience.
- Ability to interpret electrical, architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
