We are seeking a Area Sales Manager to join our Libratel Sales team in the EAST COAST managing operations in Montreal, Halifax and Newfoundland
**Position Responsibilities**
- Identify, qualify, negotiate, and win new business within identified B2B channels
- Actively manage and grow accounts in a unique outside sales territory as an Area manager. This will include a large, pre-existing customer base.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual sales and operational targets by maintaining a high level of sales and marketing activity in the territory.
- Use your outside sales experience to prospect and develop new, exciting business relationships.
- Understand each customer's sales needs to provide real, effective solutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Generate daily activity with an existent customer base to generate product awareness and sales growth.
- Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations to customers, colleagues and upper management.
- Prepare, estimate, coordinate and deliver timely and accurate presentations and proposals
- Ensure that the right product is supplied
- Develop and maintain a customer and prospect list
- Identify new retail opportunities for expansion within their territory
- Organize regular meetings with business, store staff and managers
- Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to successfully implement sales initiatives across the dealer channel.
**Qualifications**:
- 3+ years in retail management, telecommunication industry experience is a must
- Preferred experience in multi-location retail environments
- Highly motivated objective-driven, innovative and an exceptional team player
- Excellent communication skills, relationship building, and strong leadership skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- University degree or College Diploma is an asset
- Able to work in fast paced, changing environment
- Must be able to multitask and work with multiple deadlines
