**What you will be doing**:
**Human Resources Coordination**
- Supporting employee lifecycle processes
a. Conduct recruitment processes as directed, including creating job postings, conducing pre-screenings, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, etc
b. Lead onboarding processes for new staff, including creating schedule, setting up work space, coordinating tech & access needs, acting as point person, etc
c. Support employee experience / engagement activities, including recognizing milestone events and other tasks as directed
d. Lead offboarding processes, including
- **Managing Human Resources data & employee files**
a. Maintain personnel files with particular attention to National Standards
b. Maintain / review / update all HR templates
c. Support Team Leads, Managers, Directors in annual reviews & updates of essential documents (job descriptions, work plans, etc)
d. Support Team Leads, Managers, Directors in scheduling & carrying out annual performance assessments
e. Track requests for Professional Development time & funding
- Other Human Resources duties as assigned
**Office Administration**
- Coordinate technology and building access needs
- Serve on Workplace Health & Safety Committee
- Staff the reception desk as required
- Other administrative duties as assigned
**What you bring**:
- A certificate, degree, or diploma in Human Resource Management, either complete or in progress
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on recruitment & retention
- 2-3 years’ experience in an office setting, ideally in the not-for-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical intuition and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner with a keen interest in developing Human Resource Management skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and direction
- Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to effectively and courteously communicate written and verbal information and to clarify requirements
